Software Engineer

Join a small, rapidly growing startup.
You'll be developing core components of our web review infrastructure, an online platform for lawyers to search and review millions of documents.
We have plenty of big problems -- search, social tools, machine learning, data mining, user interfaces, analytics, and more -- and we'll let you decide where you want to have the biggest impact.
You don't need prior experience in any of these areas (though of course that's a plus), just solid coding skills and the willingness to learn. We think learning on the job is fun and we're happy to invest the time to conquer a new domain.
We code primarily in Java and Python but dabble in several other languages.
- Experience with a compiled language, such as C, C++, or Java

If you are looking for a frontend job that's more than just creating web forms to plug into a backend database, this is the job for you.
It turns out that presenting gigabytes of data to smart but not always tech-savvy users is a great challenge. We obsess over user experience and strive to create unique, cutting edge solutions for every problem we face. See some examples here: Instant Search, Analytics.
Our interface is very rich, and very programmatic. You should be comfortable dealing with thousands of lines of Javascript and a robust, modular codebase.
